Dreaming up a Dining Room

The key to a successful room makeover - a plan - who knew?! I have a tendency to jump in too quickly when it comes to design projects. Then I find myself wanting to change everything up within a few months, but that might just be another problem I have. Shhh!

We’re currently in the process of revamping our dining room. You ever have a room in your house that you just have no clue on which direction to take it? Enter, our dining room.

Overall, our house feels eclectic as each room has a different style and design, and when it comes to the dining room, we’ve had zero inspiration for quite some time. As of now, it’s just a catch all of hand me downs and random pieces we’ve collected along the way.

When it comes to designing a room, I tend to find one grounding piece and build around that. For the dining room, that will be our new table {more to come on that}

As I previously mentioned, I have a bad habit of jumping in and pulling the trigger too fast on design elements. So, when it comes to this dining room do-over, I’m going to challenge myself by sitting back, building a plan and cohesive vision while enjoying the process…s l o w l y.

For starters, I’ve gathered some of my favorite accessories that I’ve been swooning over for the space. I’m leaning towards a light, bright and natural space with loads of texture.
